55 Square Bar and Restaurant was established in 2019 by Madam Favour Odinaka, a visionary entrepreneur whose inspiration for the name “55 Square” came through a profound divine revelation in her sleep.
From its inception, the restaurant was built on a foundation of passion, authenticity, and a desire to bring people together through exceptional culinary experiences. Although operations began with great promise, the unforeseen COVID-19 pandemic led to a nationwide shutdown just three months after opening. Undeterred, Madam Favour demonstrated resilience and adaptability by transitioning the business to takeaway services, ensuring that the restaurant continued to serve its loyal customers even in challenging times.
When restrictions were lifted later that year, 55 Square Bar and Restaurant reopened with renewed purpose and an elevated vision. The establishment underwent a thoughtful transformation, refining its operations and deepening its commitment to excellence in food, service, and ambiance.
These strategic improvements and an unwavering dedication to quality soon paid off. The restaurant blossomed into a beloved dining destination celebrated not only within its local community but also by visitors from around the world.
